Good 10$ meal. If youre looking for something clean get the special which is boiled rice and the baba chicken which is grilled. The other menu items might be a bit greasy

THE best quick cheap greasy chinese spot in Waterloo; the portions are huge and almost every combination plate is under $10. They only take cash/debit though. Try the Baba Chicken

Best value for 10$ at UW plaza and the fastest service. The customer service may not be perfect, but the food tastes decent and is super convenient.

Great portion sizes. Quality of the food is a little low. Tho not that the quality is bad exactly, more like its pretty unhealthy. Its more of a greasy saucy sorta bad which what people want. Me personally, i get tired of it after a few times because i feel unhealthy afterwards but its still tastrs good. Not my cup of tea.

If I come here, it's because I'm in a rush and just want something quick without breaking the bank. - Food is decent, not the best but not the greatest. - If you get the BBQ Pork, or the Duck you will get less meat than if you got any of the chickens or other meat. This is simply because bbq pork and duck are just more expensive meats compared to the chicken. - The lady is a bit rushed and may come off rude, but i think it's just due to her proficiency in english, and the service culture she's use to. So don't think too much about it.

Staff was rude and rushed. They raised their at us to order when we were just looking at the menu. We ended up still getting food here because we wanted to try it but didnt enjoy the experience at all. They didnt have a VISA machine and forced debit. They didnt have sauce packets and told us to pour the sauce ourselves. The food was alright but would not go back due to the ownership.

Tasted their signature chefs recommendation which was baba grill chicken. It was burnt and was bitter.

They try to save money by skimping on the meat. I ordered Baba's Chicken and crispy chicken and the lady gave me a bunch of deep fried batter with no chicken. If they serve you properly it's really good food; it's hit and miss.

Do not go here, it was my first and last experience at this horrible place. I went in today with my friend and asked for a sample as I was deciding between two options. As I was trying the food the lady asked me how many pieces I wanted to try and that she knew me in a very negative tone. I had never been here before and genuinely wanted to try a sample before ordering. I told the lady this was my time here and her colleague stepped in and said how many I wanted to try as well in a sarcastic tone. I have never been so disrespected while trying to give an establishment my business. Safe to say I left with my colleague and will never be coming back.

This is just ok. I go there because it’s fast food. They give lots of food while price isn’t high. One bad thing is Customer service is sucks. Two old ladies don’t know how to speak English politely to the customers. For environment concern, I once ask if they can use porcelain rather than plastic plate for customers who sits in to eat. The old lady then just complained they couldn’t and why don’t I bring my own container here. And sometimes, I just want to eat my food quietly while they talk so loud... Feeling like I’m not welcome. But the cook working in the kitchen is nice and willing to take your advice.

Food is okay but customer service sucks. Please do smile when you have customers come in. It looks like as if we do not want to get served. On top of it we were told we are not allowed to eat in here because we are closing. We ate outside and were there for about 30 minutes outside and they were still open. Will not be coming back. Don’t waste your money here.

I am being generous with a 2 star review. Extremely unpleasant customer service. Besides that, it has been 2 hours into my meal and i honestly do not feel good at all. Something is a miss here. Will contact health inspector. Beware. Only give it 2 stars because it was cheap but if cheap gets me bedridden then it wasnt worth the price!

Went here twice. Good portions, good variety, good options, fresh enough, good price. Everything is before you so you just pick what you want! What's the problem? The baba chicken had a strange smell and a strange flavour. Something can be improved here.

Tldr: Cheap, quick chinese takeout. Inconsistent quality and taste Came here a couple times when i succumbed to my chinese food cravings during school at Waterloo. This place is conveniently located in the University plaza, offering take-out chinese food. They offer combos with choices of fried rice and fried noodles (shanghai and chow mein) as the staples, a choice of vegetables, and a selection of meats. In my opinion, the quality and taste of the food here is just ok. The amount of food that they give is not always consistent (also depends on the person that is serving you), and some days the meats are pretty dry and can get pretty salty and greasy. However, they are pretty speedy with their service, and the price is pretty competitive relative to the other food joints in the plaza as well. If you want a quick bite (kind of like a grab and go type of meal), then you could try this place. But if you're looking for better tasting chinese food, i would suggest looking elsewhere.

If you order the right thing, it's great. Some of the meats are too salty, but mixed veggie + baba chicken + Rice or noodles is an excellent cheap meal.
